Answer:

the equation of the line is,

y = 2x - 1

Explanation:

let's take any two co-ordinates from the graph given,

x1, y1 = 2, 3

x2, y2 = -2, -5

the equation of the line is,

y = mx + b

where,

slope, m = y2 - y1 / x2 - x1

= -5 - 3 / -2 - 2

= -8/-4 = 2

let's take x1, y1 as x, y co-ordinate to find the constant b

3 = 2(2) + b

3 - 4 = b

b = -1

thus,

the equation of the line is,

y = 2x - 1
