Answer:

the equation of the line is,

y = -3x + 2

Explanation:

let's take the two co-ordinates given in the graph,

x1, y1 = 0, 2

x2, y2 = 2, -4

equation of the line is,

y = mx + b

where,

slope, m = y2 - y1 / x2 - x1

= -4 - 2 / 2 - 0

= -6/2 = -3

let's take x1, y1 as x, y co - ordinate to find the value of constant, b

2 = -3(0) + b

2 = 0 + b

b = 2

thus,

the equation of the line is,

y = -3x + 2
