Use the slope-intercept form to graph the equation

There isn’t an equation posted, so I’ll explain the process:
Slope intercept form is in the form y=mx+b

Y and x are variables, so you don’t need to do anything here with them
M is the slope, sometimes a whole number sometimes a fraction, and the sign in front of it matters
B is the y intercept, where the line crosses the y axis, (which means the x value will be 0) the sign also matters for this one. It could be +b or -b

First, plot the y intercept. If it is, for example, 3 (the equation could be y= 1/2x + 3) then plot the point (0,3) it will fall on the y axis.

Then, use the slope to find the next point. In this example, the slope is 1/2, so you will go up (rise) 1 and go over (run) 2. So, doing so will make the next point (1,5)

Repeat the last step and get the next point: (2,7)

Draw a line connecting these dots and extend it across the graph ( with a straight edge on paper, or on a computer it will do it for you) and add arrows to both ends (again a computer will do it for you)
