Answer:

x=16

Explanation:

when solving for a variable, get the variables to one side of the equation and the numbers to the other side.

3+2x=41

*minus 3 from both sides of the equation to get rid of the number on the side of variables of the equation*

2x=38

to get one variable alone, divide the whole equation by 2

x=16
