This might be easier to do in decimals. Let's try it.

3/5 = 0.6

1/10 = 0.1

rate = holes / hours

rate = 0.6/0.1

rate = 6 holes per hour

Try it with fractions.

rate =
((3)/(5) )/((1)/(10) ) Invert and multiply the 1/10

rate =
(3)/(5) *(10)/(1) = 30/5 = 6
