At ​3:00 AM, after thoroughly inspecting and fingerprinting the​ area, they again took the temperature of the body which had dropped to 84 F. The temperature of the crime scene has remained at a constant 79 F. Determine when the person was murdered.​ (Assume that the victim was healthy at the time of death. That​ is, assume that the temperature of the body at the time of death was 98.6 ​F.)

approximately 2:05 AM

Explanation:

change in temp/time = 8°F/30min = 0.27°F/1min

find the time from death to first recorded temp

98.6-92=6.6°F

6.6/0.27=24.4444444≈24.4

so it's 24.4min before 2:30

which is 2:05.6
