135% of a value 3645 what is the original value

well, the value was actually "x", which oddly enough is the 100%, but we also know that 3645 is 135% of that, so


\begin{array}{ccll} Amount&\%\\ \cline{1-2} x & 100\\ 3645& 135 \end{array} \implies \cfrac{x}{3645}~~=~~\cfrac{100}{135} \\\\\\ \cfrac{x}{3645} ~~=~~ \cfrac{20}{27}\implies 27x=72900\implies x=\cfrac{72900}{27}\implies x=2700
