One earthquake has a magnitude of 3.5 if a 2nd earthquake has a magnitude of 4.5 how much larger is its seismic wave

The second earthquake with a magnitude of 4.5 has seismic waves approximately 10 times larger (in amplitude) than the first earthquake with a magnitude of 3.5. This is because each whole number increase in magnitude represents a tenfold increase in the amplitude of seismic waves.
