x=9(y^(1/5)+2) then work towards solving for the "new" y:


(x)/(9)=y^(1/5)+2 and


(x)/(9)-2=y^(1/5) and finally raise each side to the 5th power giving us


((x)/(9)-2)^5=f^(-1)(x)
