For this, I am going to use the point (1, 7) and see which one gives a true statement. The equation that turns out to be true is the linear equation that corresponds to the given table of values.

First equation: FALSE

3x+y=8\\3(1) +(7)=5\\3+7\\eq 5

Second equation: TRUE

x+y=8\\(1)+(7)=8\\1+7=8

True statement. But just to make sure, I am going to test the rest of the equations as well.

Third equation: FALSE

x-y=8\\(1)-(7)=8\\1-7\\eq 8

Fourth equation: FALSE

x+y=7\\(1)+(7)=7\\1+7\\eq 7

Therefore, the second equation is the linear equation that correstponds to the given table of (x,y) values.

I hope this helps! :)
