sum the 3 numbers, equate to 66 and solve for n

n + 6 + n + 2n = 66 ( simplify left side )

4n + 6 = 66 ( subtract 6 from both sides )

4n = 60 (divide both sides by 4 )

n = 15 ← second number

n + 6 = 15 + 6 = 21 ← first number

2n = 2 × 15 = 30 ← third number
