Answer: £56

Explanation:

SHOP A:

£40 --> €46.40

40 x 1.16 = €46.40

€64.96 ÷ 1.16 = £56

SHOP B:

£72 --> €80.64

70 x 1.12 = €80.64

€64.96 ÷ 1.12 = £58

The answer is £56 because that is the smallest.

Answer:

Shop A: £40/€46.40 = about £.862/€

Shop B: £72/€80.64 = about £.892/€

Nadia: (£.892/€)(€64.96) = £60
