PLEASE HELP Lila has two gift cards. The first one is worth $120, and it decreases by $3.00 every month it goes unused. The second one is worth $80 and decreases by $2.50 every month it remains unused. In how many months will the two gift cards have the same remaining value?

Answer:

40 months

Explanation:

The second gift card will run out of money before the first, so we can ignore that one.

Divide 120 by 3 to find how many months it'll take for the first gift card to run out.

120/3=40

By then, the second gift card will be 0 as well.
