Answer: 6.708... or 3√5

Explanation:

First start by breaking down the 45 with perfect sqr. factors of 45 such as √9 and √5.

Next you want to try and reduce these 2 numbers as much as possible.

So:

√9 and √5===== √3 and √5

Since the 5 can't be further broken down we leave it as a √5 wjile the 3 looses its √ since it is a perfect sqr. Leaving you with 3√5. Which can be plugged into a calculator and will get you the same answer of 6.708...
