The slope between two points (x1,y1) and (x2,y2) is given by:

m=(y_2-y_1)/(x_2-x_1)

In this case we have the points (2,-4) and (6,4), then:

\begin{gathered} m=(4-(-4))/(6-2) \\ m=(4+4)/(4) \\ m=(8)/(4) \\ m=2 \end{gathered}

Therefore, the slope is 2
