Answer:

>>> 96

Explanation:

Given that ,

  • 86 crayons are broken our of 182 crayons

We have to find ,

  • Total numbers of crayons which are not broken

Solution :

Let us say that ,

→ No of crayons which aren't broken are "x"

We know that total no of crayons are 182 and 86 crayons are broken. Therefore , if we add x and 86 than it must be equal to 182 and hence after solving it we can get the value of x that is crayons which aren't broken.

\longmapsto \: \: \: \sf{x + 86 = 182}

Subtracting both sides with 86 :

\longmapsto \: \: \: \sf{x + \cancel{86} - \cancel{86}= 182 - 86}

We get ,

\longmapsto \: \: \: \sf{ \boxed{\sf{ \bold{x = 96}}}} \: \: \: \bigstar

  • Therefore, "96" crayons aren't broken.

Hope, it'll help you!! :)

Answer:

96 crayons

Explanation:

We know that the total number of crayons in the basket is 182. We can add the number of broken crayons to the number of unbroken crayons to get the total number of crayons in the basket:

Broken crayons + unbroken crayons = total crayons

86 crayons + unbroken crayons = 182 crayons

Subtracting 86 crayons from both sides of the equation, we get:

Unbroken crayons = 182 crayons - 86 crayons

Unbroken crayons = 96 crayons

Therefore, there are 96 crayons that are not broken.
