A spinner has 10 sections with numbers from 0 to 9. If the spinner is twirled, find the odds against the spinner stopping on a 1, 2, 3 or 4.

60% or 6/10

Explanation:

If there are 10 sections that means that each section is 1/10. We have four section we do not want so we add that up. the amount is equal to 4/10. Now just do 10/10 - 4/10 = 6/10. So the odds against are 6/10 or 60%
