Why do you think that earthworms are most likely to be found in rich soils instead of sandy soil?

Answer: There is more nutrience in rich, dark, moist soil.

Explanation: Worms require organic, moist soil to thrive. Sandy soil loses it's moisture and nutrience, and it heats up must faster killing the worms and the organic matter in which the worms thrive in.
