Answer:

multiply 13 years by 2 times to get how many inches it grew in 13years

13×2=36

to get it's current inches in 13 years you'll add 36 inches and the 28iches

28+36=64

=64 inches

Answer:

54 inches

Explanation:

To find the height of the cherry blossom tree in 13 years, we can use the following equation:

height = current height + growth rate × number of years

where:

  • height is the height of the tree in inches
  • current height is the height of the tree currently (28 inches)
  • growth rate is the growth rate of the tree per year (2 inches/year)
  • number of years is the number of years in the future (13 years)

Substituting these values into the equation, we get:

height = 28 inches + 2 inches/year * 13 years

height = 28 inches + 26 inches

height = 54 inches

Therefore, the cherry blossom tree will be 54 inches tall in 13 years.
