I think this is what they are asking you to do.

You just have to draw bars in each of the shifts and depending on the number of hours you draw the lengt of the bar.

For example if in the 5th shift he did 2 hours, you go to the 5th shift place in the plane/table and following the line of that particular shift you draw a line in the place that represent the 2 hours. Then you just connect the line with the beginning of the 5th shift line creating a bar.
