y=-3x-1

Explanation:

You first have to add the 6x on both sides to get it away from y, since we want y by itself, which you would get 2y=6x+2 then divide -2y by -2 because you want y by itself. If you divide -2y by -2 you get y, if you do it to one side, you do it to the other, so you divide 6x by -2 which is -3x. Then you divide 2 by -2 which is -1, if you combine all of this and turn it into an equation you would get y=-3x-1, like/ comment if it helped!
