what angle? well, is just the complementary angle to 65°.

\cos(65^o )=\cfrac{\stackrel{adjacent}{x}}{\underset{hypotenuse}{18}} \implies 18\cos(65^o)=x \implies 7.61\approx x

Make sure your calculator is in Degree mode.
