Your friend says that when multiplying 400 by 132, he can multiply 4 x 132 and write three zeros after the product. Is your friend correct? Explain.

It should be two zeros, not three zeros.

This is because there are two zeros in the number 400.

400 x 132 = 52800 because 4 x 132 = 528, then we stick on the two zeros at the end as mentioned.
