First, take out the GCF (greatest common factor). In this case, it’s 6a. (Each number can be divided by 6a).

6a(a^2 + 9a - 22)

Now, find 2 numbers that can be multiplied to get -22 and can also be added to get 9.

The answer is 11 and -2.
11 x -2 = -22,
11 - 2 = 9

Answer:

6a (x+11)(x-2)

answer: 6a(a - 2)(a + 11)

1) factor out the common term in the equation (6a)
2) 6a(a^2 + 9a - 22)
3) factor the a^2 + 9a - 22
4 and answer) 6a(a - 2)(a + 11)
