Answer: Graph C

Explanation:

I'm answering this question knowing that (x) is a mistake on your teachers part, they probably mistyped f(x).

If f(x) sounds confusing, simply switch it with "y=" in my steps.

1. It's understood that f(x)=log(x) is actually f(x)=log₁₀(x), the form seen in the question is using common log form.

2. To find which graph is the log equation found in the answer, plugging in a point would be the most efficient.

3. Plugging in 10 for x would be the easiest, f(x)=log₁₀(10), now all we need to find is f(x).

4. Converting this to exponential which is to what power of the base (in tiny letters) equals the argument (the number in parenthesis). 10_{x}=10

5. Using exponential rules, any number to the power of one equals itself, so if 10 is plugged in for x, y equals 1, with the point being (10,1), making Graph C correct
