Your problem doesn't make it clear but I think 8 in is the radius?


So assuming radius = r = 8:

vol of a sphere =
(4)/(3) \pi r^(3)

vol of a sphere =
(4)/(3) \pi 8^(3)

vol of a sphere =
(4)/(3) \pi 512

vol of a sphere =
(4)/(3) \pi 512

= (682 2/3) * 3.14 = 2143.57333333

So rounded is 2143.57
