Answer: The slope intercept formula is y = x

Explanation:

Firstly,

Using the equation for slope : m = (y2 - y1) / (x2 - x1 )

we can plug in the numbers accordingly

(-3,3) = (x1 , y1)

(2,2) = (x2 , y2)

m = (2 - (-3)) / (2-(-3))

due to the double minus signs we can make the signs pluses

m = (2+3) / (2+3)

then we add

m = 5 / 5

and then simplify

m = 1

Then we plug this variable into our slope intercept form : y = mx + b

y = 1x + b

After this we take either of our beginning coordinates (in this case i'm using (2,2)) and plug it in for x and y

2 = 1(2) + b

then we multiply

2 = 2 + b

then we subtract the two from the right side to get

b = 0

this means our final slope intercept formula is y = x
