Pudge has three times as many apples as Ace, and Ace has twice as many as Christi. How many apples does each

have if Pudge has 12 more than both Ace and Christi together?
Can you work the problem out please? I’m really having a hard time putting it into a formula.

Answer: Ace has 8 apples Christi has 4 and Pudge has 24

Explanation:

Ace has 2 twice as much as Christi has, and 4 x 2 is 8. Pudge has 3 times more than Ace has and 8 x 3 is 24. Pudge has 12 more than Christi and Ace combined. 8 + 4 = 12. 12 + 12 = 24. I hope I explained it right.
