Here a circle is given us and we are interested in finding out the circumference of the circle. Circumference is the length of the boundary enclosed by thr circle .

And the circumference is given by the formula,

C = 2πr , where r is the radius of the circle.

Now as per given figure, radius is 9mi .So on substituting the respective values, we have;

C = 2πr

C = 2*22/7 * 9mi

C = 56.57 mi

Hence the circumference of the circle is 56.57 mi.
