Answer:

x = 18

Explanation:

The given angles, (5x+ 19)° and (6x + 1)° are corresponding angles formed by the transversal t intersecting parallel lines m and n

Such corresponding angles are equal to each other

Therefore
(6x + 1)° = (5x + 19)°

6x + 1 = 5x + 19

Subtract 5x both sides
6x - 5x + 1 = 5x - 5x + 19
x + 1 = 19

Subtract 1 both sides:
x + 1 - 1 = 19 - 1

x = 18

We can check this is correct by plugging back the value of x into both equations:
5x + 19 = 5(18) + 19 = 90 + 19 = 109

6x + 1 =6(18) + 1 = 108 + 1 = 109

Both are equal to each other
