You will calculate several z scores and find associated probability values. You will complete your work by hand and submit your work digitally, or as a hard copy in class on the Monday following the due date.

Dr. Proctor has given an exam in his math class. The test scores for his class are normally distributed with a mean of 80 and standard deviation of 2.5. Find the probability that a randomly selected student from this class has a test score that is:

A. greater than 84.

B. between 75 and 82.

C. Below 70.

For A. - C., find a z score (or two) as necessary. Then graph the z score(s), shade the appropriate area under the curve. Finally, find the shaded area using the Standard Normal Distribution table in your book.
