The absolute first thing you want to simplify when dealing with a problem is to ALWAYS start at the parentheses.
SO, this is what you'll have to do

We'll only be focusing the parenthetical part of the problem so lets put it here:
3(6 + 7n)

This is another way of saying: What is 3 times (6+7n)?

This is how:

3 x 6 = 18
3 x 7n = 21n

so now we have the simplified version of:

3n+18+21n

OR

24n+18
