Answer: Greatest common factors can be very simple and the name is self-explanatory.

Explanation:

1.First find all the factors of both/all numbers.

2.Find the factors that the numbers have in common.

3.Last all you need to do is find the biggest number out of the common factors.

Ex: 10 and 8

Factors of 10: 1, 2, 5, 10

Factors of 8: 1, 2, 4, 8

Common factors: 1, 2

The GCF of 10 and 8 is 2.
