Answer:

x = 35

y = 69

Explanation:

Finding x:

You find x use the sine rule for finding a triangle's side

sine rule = sidea/sin(opposite angle) = sideb/sin(opposite angle)

60/sin(60) = x/sin(30)

sin(60)x = sin(30)*60

sin(60)x = 30

x = 30/sin(60)

x = 34.64101615

x = 35 (rounded to a whole number)

Finding y:

You can use sine rule for finding a triangle's side in order to find y as well.

60/sin(60) = y/sin(90)

sin(60)y = sin(90)*60

sin(60)y = 60

y = 60/sin(60)

y = 69.2820323

y = 69 (rounded to a whole number)
