A random sample of 1,400 people found that 695 preferred to shop online rather than in stores. Based on these results, how many out of the next 700 people surveyed would you expect to prefer online shopping?

Total random sample of 1400 people out of which 695 prefer online shopping.
Thus store shoppers = 1400 - 695 = 705
Percentage of online shoppers = (695/1400)x100 = 49.64% (approx)
So, from survey of 700 people , we expect online shoppers to be 700x49.64% = 347 people approx
