the rectangle anymore. What would be the width of a rectangle with the

x + 2

Explanation:

Area = x² + 11x + 18

length = x + 9

width = ?

Area = length x width

Factor the polynomial x² + 11x + 18:

length x width = (x + 9)(x + 2) = x² + 11x + 18

The length is x + 9, therefore the width is x + 2
