The Industrial Revolution was the transition to using machines to create goods. The first Industrial Revolution was in England and was known for farming methods and food production. Until they transitioned into machinery to benefit the production, but this made farmers lose their jobs working in the fields (I think). This drove the growth of the US and expanded market economy.
