Hate is grounded in some sense of perceived threat, often times people will feel threaten by other/different people so they tend to but up a front to protect themselves at the same time. Research shows that many members of dominant groups perceive minorities and immigrant groups as a threat.

Answer: Ignorance. Some people have a hard time understanding different cultures and people. They are usually born to think this way from the people they are raised by. Hope this helps
