How do you find the scale factor of something?????

Im SO LOST???????????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the simplest way to find it

Answer:

Scale factor = Dimension of the new shape ÷ Dimension of the original shape.

OR SIDE LENGTH

for example side length of new shape is 3 and the original is 4

3/4 is the scale factor
