The mass of the baseball is 145 g or 0.145 kg.
The acceleration is given as 80 m/s^2.
Substituting these value into the formula, we get:
Force = 0.145 kg • 80 m/s^2
F= 11.6 ( Newton )
Solution
The pitcher applied 11.6 N force
Option A
