y = -x + 4

Explanation:

x + y = 6 => y = -x + 6

The line that parallel to y = -x + 6 has same slope so m = -1

Using coordinates (-4,8)

y = mx + b

8 = (-1)(-4) + b

8 = 4 + b

b = 4

then y = -x + 4
