17% as a decimal is 0.17. Think about it like you would normally 17/100 and 0.17/1.00
That’s the best way I can explain it, hope this helps!

Answer: 0.17
Explanation: Divide a percent by 100 and remove the percent sign to convert from a percent to a decimal.
Example: 10% becomes 10/100 = 0.10
Example: 67.5% becomes 67.5/100 = 0.675
