Find the difference in y coordinates, y2 - y1 (called rise)

Find the difference in corresponding x coordinates x2 - x1 (called run)

Rise/Run gives the slope

Two distinguishable points on the line graph are (0, 2) and (3, 3)

rise = 3 - 2 = 1

run = 3 - 0 = 3

Slope = 1/3
