Explanation:

If you start at the point on the left to get to the lower point on the right, you need to go down 3 units and to the right 2 units. This is the slope. Going down represents a negative number and going right represents a positive number. The slope is
(-3)/(2)

The y -intercpet is where the graph is cross the y axis. It looks like it is crossing between 2 and 3. So, 2 1/2 is a good estimate. Actually, I did calculate the y-intercept and it is in fact 2 1/2.

The point of the y-intercept is when x = 0

(0, 2 1/2)
