\pi cm^3 (option C)

Explanation:

The volume is given by the equation


V=\pi r^2h
Just placing the values:

V=\pi (9)^2(23)
Notice the pi is left over, so just get the 9^2*23=1863
So the answer for the volume is 1863
\pi in cm^3

So your answer is just fine, 5849. Just notice the pi is not in it.
