Answer: (Answer to question 1) The form he uses is: versus even though it may look like he wrote a poem.

(Answer to question 2) he uses them whenever he is trying to state a theme.

(Answer to last question) well since the literary devices he uses are foreshadowing, and using metaphors it strengthens and reinforces it making the reader think of vivid visuals in their mind through his words.
