\huge\begin{array}{ccc}a_1=-2\\a_2=1\\a_3=6\\a_(10)=97\end{array}

Numerical sequence.

a_n=n^2-3

Find the first 3 terms and the 10th term.

Substitute

n = 1, n = 2, n = 3 and n = 10:

a_1=1^2-3=1-2=-2\\\\a_2=2^2-3=4-3=1\\\\a_3=3^2-3=9-3=6\\\\a_(10)=10^2-3=100-3=97
