Dear Mom and Dad,

I understand that you do not want me to go to this Raid but I think it will teach me some very important things. I know you are only trying to protect me and ensure I do not get hurt, but I promise I will be safe. Aunt Stephanie is taking me and I will have lots of friends coming with me and they will protect me. I would really appreciate it if you understand that I am growing up and am soon going to be moving out and then I will be able to do things without your permission. Raids are not as dangerous as you think. It is mostly just people just singing, dancing, and listening to the music around them. I really promise to be safe and to keep you updated the whole time!
