If you mean as in they feel like they are too good for people, thats because some girls fell that they deserve the best of the best, or they just have high standards. this is coming from a girl btw. if you mean in themselves, it could be bc they feel like they need to be awesome and perfect, prove someone wrong, or get someone approval, as well as make them proud. but it could just be nature, i d'know.
