I remember the day I beseeched my parents to buy me a new pair of shoes. My parents took me to the mall and I saw the most coolest pair of shoes, but they were so expensive! I had a sudden whim to own them and I was determined to get my parents to buy them for me and gratify my desire.
I begged and pleaded with them to buy them, using all the persuasive power I could muster. I told them how much I wanted them, how they were the perfect shoes, and that I would be so happy if they would buy them for me. I even promised to save up my allowance to pay them back. Eventually, they reluctantly agreed and they bought me the lavish pair of shoes.
I was over the moon, I couldn't believe my parents had actually bought them for me. I felt so much joy and rapture as I put them on for the first time.
